The University of Western Macedonia IEEE Student Branch is the first branch to form in the region of Western Macedonia and the sixth in Greece. It was formed in the year of 2010. It is located at the Informatics and Telecommunication Engineering faculty and intends to expand to the Mechanological Engineering faculty. The main goal of the student branch is to enhance the engineering sense and abilities of the faculty students through different activities, like competitions, conferences and fairs
