ABOUT US For over 15 years, we have challenged conventional luxury through relaxed hospitality because we know the future of travel is local. We are a 100% Mexican company which creates spaces that blend nature with local culture throughout Mexico and Latin America. We conceptualized, constructed and operated Ikal del Mar in 2002 and Esencia in 2005. Our hotels were the first ones in Riviera Maya that achieved rates above $500 USD, offering a distinct luxury product versus the hotels that hoarded the market at that time. Our properties have over 50 awards from travelling authorities like Travel & Leisure magazine, Condè Nast, Forbes, W magazine, Prix Versalles, Virtuoso, Fodor's Travel and even Trip Advisor´s Traveller's Choice. WHAT WE DO We design compelling hotels adapting to the client's needs to guarantee results. Each property tells its own story because it is crafted according to its specific surroundings. We work with our clients throughout the whole process: from ideation to operation. FOR OUR INVESTORS Hamak is an expert ally for hotel proprietors and future owners. We develop a concept for the unique potential of a property, giving our clients the ability to sell it in a time frame of five to ten years and to obtain a significant return on their investment. FOR OUR GUESTS Either a boutique hotel, an all-inclusive or a Business Class, each Hamak property will please all five senses. Our culture of service seeks to provide a stay so memorable that guests will return over and over again. MANAGEMENT We supervise all aspects related to the operations of a hotel: sales, management, accounting, reservations, acquisitions, planning, budgets, human resources. We also offer taking care of marketing, sales and public relations. SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY Hamak Hotels collaborates with an association that gives meals and after school programs to underprivileged children in Cancún. Our goal is to train workers and establish a School of Hospitality.
