The Women’s Chamber for Digital is a cabinet approved initiative endorsed by the Ministry of Digital Infrastructure and Information Technology under the guidance of Hon. Minister Ajith P. Perera and the Information and Communication Technology Agency of Sri Lanka (ICTA). The proposed chamber will be the driving force of the government’s policy on women empowerment whilst driving and influencing Sri Lanka’s economy by fair and equal participation of women in business. The chamber will assist with the above via three main wings: Education, Corporate and Technopreneurship. The chamber will be implementing projects to support women empowerment through advocacy, mentoring, networking and policy-level developments.The chamber will run its own flagship projects and also engage with partner entities to synchronize on similar initiatives in-line with its overall mandate.
