A Corporate entity drawing its power and name from the cohesive strength of Rampura village. Embarked on a journey to enhance the vibrancy and economic power of its inhabitants along with all those willing to join its famed ethos on social values. It all began with an ardent thought to support the farmers with an activity that they were mostly involved in, being agriculture and farming. By the idea of proposing them to carry out organic farming, a couple of farmers were readily willing to indulge in. We then began with getting some strong organic farming experts and carried out some study and discussion with the local farmers in a village called Rampura near to Mysore on what is best for them. During one such discussion, a keen listener being a farmer narrated one of his experiences. This farmer from Rampura once had grown greens organically and took them to sell in the market. He had priced it a little higher than other vendors as his produce was healthier and free from chemicals, although his adjoining vendors had fluffy and bright produce, they were grown with chemicals and pesticides for a better yield and priced less. However, the customers being naturally attracted to the bright and fluffy greens with lesser price in comparison with the organically produced yield chose to buy from the adjoining vendors. The Rampura farmer tried convincing the customers that his produce was better in quality and free from chemicals making it healthier. As it is less in produce when compared to the chemically grown produce they were priced a little higher. Nevertheless, by the end of the day he saw his adjoining vendors was better off having all of their produce sold with chemically grown. Meanwhile, organically grown farmer from Rampura had to sell his produce for a loss to empty his greens and avoid going it for a waste. Isn't there a strange disconnect?
