Our award winning company Friends for Pets was established in 2008 within the area of Cheddar, Somerset offering a dog walking and pet sitting service to thousands of happy customers throughout the UK. As the business grew significantly and organically, we set ourselves up to franchise, 11 years later we have 18 successful Franchises. Many of our current franchisees joined us to seek a much better work life balance and to spend more time with their families. Some also joined us to become their own boss whilst fulfilling their passion for animals. Every franchisee benefits from our truly amazing support team who all have a wealth of knowledge within the animal sector, at our head office in Somerset. Pet’s Welfare is at the heart of what we do! Our business model is focused around Animal Welfare and we work closely with local authorities and have previously members of the All Party Parliamentary Group for Animal Welfare helping to bring Animal Welfare Issues to the forefront of MPs issues in the Houses of Parliament. We took part in the discussions to create the update ‘The Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) (England) Regulations 2018’.
