Lucas y Hernández – Gil is born in 2007. We work in architecture, interiorism and furniture design projects, these last under the brand Kresta Design. We search for a different point of view, with a mix of curiosity, intuition and craft. We feel identified with the work impregnated with play, from the “Craftsman” that Richard Sennett defines in his book. We try to create spaces with a luminous and warm atmosphere, a balanced environment but at the same time lively and fresh. We flee from closed and excessive designs. We like to surround ourselves with the possibilities offered by every situation, to get to the most direct and effective sollution. Our intention is to create a framework, a gameboard for the user. We play with the expressiveness of light and material, appreciating textures derived from construction as well as the hand’s imprint. Our objective is to uncover a story in each project where all the pieces fit.
