The unique molecular structure of acetylenic diols enables these surfactants to have multiple functions, such as being used as wetting agents or defoamers in formulations of water-based coatings, water-based inks, and water-based adhesives. All products are sold in more than 40 countries and areas under a unified brand name—SURFADOL®. SURFADOL® additives can reduce dynamic surface tension, control foam, improve pigment dispersion efficiency, and avoid surface defects caused by silicon-based and other traditional additives.
