Inner Strength Counseling Services, PLLC (ISCS) strives to promote healthy individuals, families and communities by providing quality, comprehensive mental and behavioral health services. ISCS is a privately owned outpatient mental health therapy practice. Our approach stems from the Cognitive-Behavioral Theory. This perspective emphasizes current circumstances and uses a scientific approach to understand and treat maladaptive behaviors. We also draw upon Existentialism Theory, Problem-Solving Approach and Brief Task-Centered Treatment. We work with issues that center around child abuse, neglect, dependency, sexual abuse, anger management, domestic violence, substance abuse, self-esteem issues, disruptive behavior, and family discord. We are also willing to work with clients from a spiritual perspective as determined appropriate by the client. Although Inner Strength Counseling Services, PLLC does have a comfortable office for you to receive services, our approach embraces therapy in home, school, after-school and daycare programs, as well as residential facilities if this meets your needs. This tends to produce the desired results for all those involved because it alleviates any stress relating to transportation issues, as well as producing a better overall experience with treatment.
