Orienthelfer e.V. is a humanitarian relief organization. Founded in 2012 by the German comedian, actor and author Christian Springer, winner of the Tolerance Award in 2016. Our mission is to assist disadvantaged groups in the Middle East. Our educational projects and training activities provide young people with practical skills and a positive outlook regarding work, equality and peace. As a second pillar, we focus on emergency relief projects to alleviate the suffering in immediate crisis. Our projects are mainly located in Lebanon and Syria. Our headquarter is located in Munich, Germany and has been supported by 'Orienthelper', our Lebanese partner organization in Beirut, Lebanon.
