Rita Goldberg founded the original company in 1981 and has finely tuned the curriculum over the last 37 years. British Swim Schools operate in 16 states teaching over 16,000 lessons per week and over 700,000 lessons per year with the aim of eliminating drowning, which is the #1 preventable cause of death in children 4 and under.
