The Metapraxis Ensemble is a London-based non-profit organisation, built around a group of musicians and collaborators and lead by Gregory Emfietzis. We focus on presenting contemporary music in conjunction with compositions from older eras, structured around a certain narrative, and reinforced by multidisciplinary elements. Metapraxis events have been produced in venues all over London, such as at LSO St Lukes, IKLECTIK, Cafe OTO, TripSpace, The Space, Iris, The Cockpit, Chelsea & Blue Elephant theatres, as well as at educational institutions (Brunel, Goldsmiths, Guildhall, Huddersfield, Leeds, etc). Support has been generously prvided by the Arts Council England and Hinrichsen Foundation.
