Spiritually founded in 1959, 59 en Conserva produces author-driven, arthouse documentary and hybrid films with a strong commitment to the subjects, society and cinema as an art form. 59 en Conserva’s films screened at Berlinale, Edinburgh International Film Festival, Visions du Réel, Hong Kong, Rencontres Internationales du Documentaire de Montréal, IDFA, Sheffield Doc/Fest, États Généraux du Film Documentaire, Doclisboa, DOK Leipzig, Festival dei Popoli, FICUNAM, Málaga and Seville, among other film festivals. They have also been awarded in France, Italy, Portugal, Romania, Argentina, Ukraine, USA and Spain. Beyond its own non-fiction projects, 59 en Conserva also serves as an executive producer for other production companies and independent filmmakers, providing executive production services in the fields of documentary, fiction and animation cinema and with a proven track record working on film projects up to 3M €.
