The Kids' Picture Show creates original children's educational content. Our videos reach a broad international audience and promote children's reading readiness and literacy. Kids can learn animals, vehicles, verbs, food groups, planets, shapes, colors, numbers, the alphabet, communications skills and more. We have backgrounds and experience in science, engineering, and ESL instruction. Our inspiration comes from our son, who is minimally verbal and does not respond to content that's usually popular with young children, such as nursery rhymes and cartoons, which tends to be too loud, busy, and complicated to appeal to many kids on the autism spectrum. For our content, we simplify everything as much as possible and use clear language to teach basic concepts in language and math. We've been publishing original content on YouTube since 2013 where have over 1 million subscribers and over 1.5 billion video views. Also find us on Amazon Prime Video, and the Happy Kids, Highbrow and Sensical apps. We recently launched a membership site with exlusive content which can be viewed on our website and mobile OTT apps for both iOS and Android platforms. In 2019, Penguin Workshop published a board book series based on our popular Vehicles and Animals videos. The children's literacy program Dolly Parton's Imagination Library chose our books as USA Blue Ribbon Selections for Library for 2020, 2021 and 2022 - distributing nearly 1 million copies of our books to children across America.
