Florida Heart Research Institute is an independent not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization with the mission to Stop Heart Disease through research, education and prevention. We have been an international leader in research since 1944 and are now statewide in our education and prevention programs. Heart disease is the leading cause of death and disability in the US and in Florida.
