Nanotechnology Research Center – NANOTAM was established in 2003 under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Ekmel ÖZBAY within the Bilkent University. NANOTAM is dedicated to conceptual and experimental research on applied Nanotechnology, Photonics, Micro/Nano Electronics and Semiconductor Techonologies with a strong emphasis on education and training. In order to transform NANOTAM’s pioneering research and development studies to commercial products and to accelerate the production activities, AB Mikro Nano Nanotechnology Company was established in partnership with Aselsan and Bilkent University. AB MikroNano aims to create high level strategic technologies and start mass production of commercial Gallium Nitrate(GaN) based nanotransistors and integrated circuits for the first time in Turkey. We are working on the development of technology and commercial product in the following areas; GaN RF Technologies Navigation Technologies Semiconductor and Sensor Technologies Photonic Technologies Electro-Optics Systems Technologies We are working with talented engineers in the field of Physics, Electrical&Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Computer Engineering along with technicians related to these fields.
