The Catholic Foundation of Michigan inspires charitable giving and assists donors in providing for the long-term needs of the Catholic parishes, schools, ministries and nonprofit organizations of southeast Michigan. Endorsed by the Archdiocese of Detroit, with its own independent governing Board of Trustees, the Catholic Foundation is a lay-run nonprofit at the center of local Catholic philanthropy. Our mission is one of service: we manage and distribute funds according to donors’ wishes in areas of greatest need in the community. The Catholic Foundation of Michigan offers people of faith a strategy for leaving their legacy uniquely aligned with Gospel values, church teachings and socially responsible investing.
