IxDA Nederland is the Dutch local chapter of the international Interaction Design Association. IxDA aims to advance the discipline of Interaction Design. We do this by organizing and facilitating gatherings for interaction designers: - the annual Design by Fire Conference - the bimonthly Design by Fire Café Other ambitions are - Creating and facilitating an inspiring interaction design community, where knowledge is shared, skills are being developed and interaction between designers is encouraged; - Encouraging the use of interaction designers' knowledge and insight in society; - Creating and facilitating publications for and by interaction designers.
