For over 100 years, the VSS has been the standardization organization in the road and transport sector in Switzerland. It develops and publishes standards and initiates and accompanies the corresponding research. The VSS maintains an excellent knowledge network with over 650 experts in around 80 technical committees. The focus is on a high level of commitment to the technologies of the future for the sustainable further development of the core area of roads and transport. In addition, the VSS promotes the next generation of engineers in Switzerland with a comprehensive range of training and continuing education programs.
