Plains Cotton Growers
www.plainscotton.orgAn advocate for High Plains cotton growers since 1956, PCG has been tackling the tough issues facing cotton growers for more than 50 years. Through the years PCG has been instrumental in bringing needed economic relief to High Plains cotton growers through beneficial legislative and regulatory changes. Our website holds several examples of past successes that continue to pay big dividends to cotton producers. Also on the site is information about current issues of interest to producers whose ability to grow and market crops depends on their outcome. An important part of the success PCG has is related to the close working relationships we maintain with our area Congressional representatives. Equally important to this effort are the working relationships between PCG and regulatory staff at the United States Department of Agriculture, the Environmental Protection Agency, the Texas Department of Agriculture and other agencies. These links are important to PCG's producer members. Knowing their situation is being clearly and effectively communicated leaves growers more time to devote to their farming operations.
