Caribbean Radiation Oncology Center, founded in 2007, is recognized as one of the region’s premier medical facilities for advanced oncological radiation technology. The center features the latest TomoTherapy Hi-Art Treatment System, the TomoTherapy HDA unit, one of the most integrated, advanced systems for comprehensive cancer treatment. By precisely targeting and attacking only the concerning area, TomoTherapy HDA effectively treats hard-to-reach, complex cancer cells while decreasing secondary side effects caused by standard radiation treatments. Caribbean Radiation Oncology Center currently has its principal treatment center in Bayamon, Puerto Rico, and will open its first facility outside of the island in Doral, Florida, in the second quarter of 2015.
