Located in Westborough - The Advanced Math Learning Center is a unique after school program that aims to support students in mastering concepts in Mathematics. The Math Center aspires to get students excited and passionate about math, and reaching their full potential. The classes offered at the Advanced Math Learning Center provide higher academic level than the level taught in schools in order to better prepare students for future classes and examinations. Classes are offered for students from grade 1 to grade 12 and consist of small groups of 4-8 students, where the placement is based on both the students' age group and academic level. A wide range of classes are offered at the Advanced Math Learning Center from algebra, geometry and beyond. The teacher at the school is Mrs. Anna Makovoz. Anna is an Adjunct Professor at University of Massachusetts – Lowell, and has 6 years of full time teaching experience at the 'Advanced Math and Science Academy' Charter School in Marlborough, MA. Anna holds a M.S. in Mathematics and Physics from Kamenets-Podolsky State University, Ukraine. She has over 24 years of successful experience teaching at the highest level in a variety of countries, including USA, Canada, Russia and Israel. Before moving to the United States, Anna was recognized by the Israeli Ministry of Education for her high level teaching and passion for Math. She received a 'Certificate of Excellency for Outstanding Results' due to her students' achievements on National Examinations.
