Financière Florentine is a holding company established in April 2017 in Lyon, France. It immediately focused on issues of micro private equity dealing with take-overs, business angels, corporate venture issues. From this experience, it launched its unique micro venture capital model in early 2013. With the help of a dozen of individual limited partners it aimed at joining entrepreneurial teams very early on (prototype phase, usually ante revenue) with both a capitalistic and operational impact. By mid-2017, the company has gathered 25 shareholders, had invested in 7 startup companies of the cleantech field near Lyon (no failure) with a total capital of 820k€. At Financière Florentine, we embraced the condition of entrepreneurs, struggling when they struggle and succeeding when they succeed. We got rid of shareholder agreements, investment duration, etc. to focus on establishing sound personal relationships within teams and looking always for the best of the company.
