Reventus Power was established in 2021 by the CPP Investments’ Sustainable Energies (SE) Group to respond to the investment opportunities this process creates. CPP Investments’ scale, flexibility and long-term horizon align with the energy and power industry’s dynamics. SE was created to position CPP Investments as a global leader in energy transition investments. Reventus Power is CPPIB’s new portfolio company investing in offshore wind and related energy infrastructure opportunities. We emphasise innovation, early-stage development and strategic partnerships and are building our team to create, access and manage opportunities. We join a global network of CPP Investments renewable energy portfolio companies including Pattern Energy, Maple Power, Cordelio Power, Renewable Power Capital, and the JV Votorantim Energia. Reventus Power provides strategic advice and oversight to Maple Power, CPP investments’ joint venture with Enbridge, in offshore wind projects in Europe. We invest in development and construction offshore wind projects in selected geographies across the globe and our ambition is to incorporate adjacent energy transition-infrastructure investments and technologies, including carbon capture, utilisation and storage (CCUS), Blue and Green Hydrogen. Reventus Power also provides commercial and technical services to other CPP Investments’ portfolio companies through its Centre of Excellence, including commodity, market analysis and risk management advice.
