The Black Physicians Network of Greater Rochester Inc.(BPNGR) is an innovative nonprofit organizational think tank made up of over 60 physicians in the greater Rochester area who are experts in the black health experience. We are practiced in overcoming racial, financial, academic, environmental, and socioeconomic barriers along the educational pipeline to successfully complete the degrees that ultimately lead to careers in STEM fields. The members are MDs, MD/PhDs, PhDs, DOs and many also have MBA, MPH, and MSc degrees. We are committed to reducing health disparities experienced by black people in the region by understanding and sharing data and information with each other and our community partners, and working with others to reduce and eliminate these inequities in our community in standard and non-traditional ways.
