Symbiosis Center for Alumni Engagement (SCAE) – is a Centre established in 2017 under Symbiosis to nurture and strengthen a symbiotic and long-lasting relationship with its alumni community. Prof. Dr. S. B. Mujumdar the Founder and President of Symbiosis established this small organization in 1971 for the welfare of foreign students. Over the last 40 years, it has become one of the largest multidisciplinary universities in India with thousands of students from all states of India and over 85 countries, graduating every year. Thus, Symbiosis has got an incredibly diverse Alumni base spread across geographies, working with various professions in reputed organizations and industries or are entrepreneurs. Each one of them has contributed to the success story of Symbiosis. Alumni Engagement is a strategic asset of Symbiosis International (Deemed University) (SIU) as they create the university‘s reputation and lasting impression, which relies largely on how successful graduates are in the real world. An active alumni base indicates a very high-quality educational experience. SCAE invites its alumni to participate in national as well as international seminars, workshops, and technical events that showcase their skills and accomplishments. SCAE provides them a platform to engage with stalwarts and eminent personalities. SCAE will help its alumni to realize dreams of innovation and entrepreneurships by making alumni a part of its innovation and incubation journey. Symbiosis alumni can deliver lectures, mentoring sessions and coach fellow alumni through on-campus conferences or alumni meets conducted by eminent alumni, faculty and stalwarts in the respective fields. Symbiosis Alums can support students and fellow alums through mentoring, career guidance, internship provision and/or recruitment opportunities. Alumni can help shape the future by reviewing various academic committees as external experts. They can achieve a sense of fulfilment and social responsibility.
