Barrow & Obasaju Consulting is Mayowa Obasaju, PhD and licensed psychologist, and Kate Barrow, LCSW. We have extensive experience leading trainings and workshops, with each of us having practiced as clinicians and facilitators for over a decade. We have been collaborating as anti-oppressive trainers since 2013. We provide trauma-informed social justice education, training, curriculum development, and clinical services. We provide individuals and organizations with trainings on identity, power, oppression, and trauma, specializing in social service settings. We believe that effective social service work requires: -shared analysis about structural oppression and dominance, -personal awareness of how we each individually participate in these structures, -shared practices for healing trauma from oppression, -building accountability for individual and structural harm caused by dominance. Our work integrates these four core areas into all services that we provide.
