Peloris Global Sourcing Pty Ltd (PGS) and its sister company, Suzhou Peloris Trading Co., Ltd (SPT) provide a consistent and compliant ‘paddock to plate’ cold chain solution to manage the rapidly increasing volumes of premium food imports into China from Australia. In 2014, Peloris, working collaboratively with China Inspection and Quarantine Services (CIQ), pioneered commercially viable China imports of pasteurised fresh milk and has managed weekly imports of Australian fresh milk since then, while maintaining a 100% record of compliance with China border clearance regulations. With our partners, Qantas and Telstra, we have been able to streamline the import process and can monitor, in real time, the movement, shipment and temperature of fresh food produce from factory to supermarket in China – a service that is unique to Peloris. Peloris continues to expand in this area with the importing of other perishable and high-risk food categories including chilled beef, fresh produce and infant milk formula.
