Established in 2009, Letian Entertainment Inc. is a multimedia company that specialize in motion picture productions, film distributions, and theatre chain operations. Letian has becoming an increasingly influential entity in the Chinese film industry due to its advantageous media resources and its leading role in the Chinese Film Alliance. Letian films currently under production include Wave, a cooperation film with Taiwan based film company; Sino-Franco cooperation film Love Affair in Paris, and a number of other films to be played in theatres nationwide. Since 2012, Letian has been in close contact with major studios in Hollywood for potential Sino-foreign film cooperations. Letian has also been expanding its brand name theatre chain. Letian International Cineplex opened to the public in September, 2011. Letian has planned to open five more cinemas in 2013.
