La Chaîne de l'Espoir Belgique is an NGO active in the development of children's heath programs in Africa and Central America. Its is part of a European network, Chain of Hope Europe and operates out of Brussels. The NGO programs include : medical missions, operating on children suffering from heart diseases and other types of malformations (orthopaedics, NTO, digestive, urology), training programs for local medical teams (both on-the-job and abroad), solidarity funds to give financial access to healthcare to poor families, and funding essential medical material to its partner hospitals abroad. La Chaîne de l'Espoir believes in the "See One, Learn One, Do One" principle, and strives for long term impact and durability.
