Animal Antiks is a charity (Registered Charity Number 1172099) working and supporting children and adults with emotional, behavioural, mental health and special needs using our experience, farm environment and specially selected animals most of which have been rescued to encourage and improve self confidence, esteem, life, social and functional skills. Animal Antiks provides and alternative provision to those with both physical and mental health issues. We support children from the age of 10yrs and adults who are experiencing various challenges and difficulties in their lives. This could include children who find mainstream education too unyielding from them and face the risk of school exclusion, through to those facing social isolation through non- conformity. Our base is a 230-acre working farm in rural Buckinghamshire where we have created a safe and calm environment. Our professional and experienced team specialise in providing a wide variety of activities all of which aim to reduce anxieties, increase confidence, build life and social skills, expand knowledge and open minds all whilst being outside and close to nature. The enrichment of working on the farm and carrying out animal care, gardening, rural crafts and other outdoor tasks is a rewarding and life changing experience.
