Through excellence in the organization’s five founding principles, Sigma Lambda Gamma provides opportunities for lifelong empowerment to its members, thereby positively influencing the global community. Sigma Lambda Gamma is a Latina based multicultural sorority founded on April 9, 1990 at the University of Iowa. Since then, Sigma Lambda Gamma has expanded throughout the United States and boasts over 100 chapters with a membership of over 15,000 members.
