The Effingham Regional Growth Alliance exists to maintain and improve the economic vitality of Effingham County, Illinois through retaining and expanding existing businesses, attracting new businesses to our communities, expanding employment opportunities and enhancing the quality of life for Effingham County and the region. We do this by • Coordinating and collaborating across communities • Assisting businesses with start-up, growth, expansion plans and resources • Identifying target markets and business sectors for future growth opportunities • Promoting our area to prospective businesses and site consultants • Cultivating a strong labor pool for today and tomorrow • Identifying opportunities for future development • Advocating with state and federal elected officials on issues that support economic growth We view economic development as a collaborative process, resulting in an environment that benefits our county communities, as well as our businesses.
