FST Lisboa is the Formula Student team of University of Lisbon's Instituto Superior Técnico, Portugal. Originally named Projecto FST in its foundation in 2001, became later Projecto FST Novabase in 2011 and in 2017, FST Lisboa. Formula Student is the largest student competition in the world, in which the students must design, build and race with formula race cars against other universities at international competitions. With seven cars on its portfolio, four of them electric, the team is pioneer in auto construction techniques and a symbol of innovative engineering in the country. With students from several different courses, FST Lisboa is proud to say that has a qualified team that has the chance to apply their academic knowledge in real life situations while learning and acquiring new skills. In 2011 the team unveiled the first high performance electric race car of the country, the FST 04e, and in 2017 the first 4-wheel-drive electric prototype, the FST 07e.
