We are a team of urban design, landscape architecture, architecture, ecology, and development researchers and designers based at Te Herenga Waka – Victoria University of Wellington and leading the NUWAO project. NUWAO is a three year research project. The overall aim of NUWAO is to develop nature-based urban design solutions, rooted in Indigenous knowledges that support climate change adaptation and individual and community wellbeing in different contexts across Aotearoa and Oceania.
