The public relations firm, which opened its doors in 1992, specializes in working closely with arts, non-profits, and entertainment companies to create an overall image and/or design a publicity campaign for a years-long campaign or a specific event. Loving the work she does is a big part of her success. McFadden has worked on both sides of the P.R. fence – as a writer and press agent – giving her a highly qualified approach in presenting stories to the media. Recently, she expanded her base of clients from entertainment and non-profits to adapt to the changing economic landscape and handles galleries, photographers and fine artists, environmental & health issues. She is a well known public speaker, was a guest lecturer at Women’s Economic Ventures on PR & Marketing for many years as well as High School career days and UCSB’s Communication Association. “I believe in giving back. By talking to these entrepreneurs and students I hope to show them how simple good PR can be and how to have fun at the same time.” Prior to moving to Santa Barbara in 1989, she wrote for The Hollywood Reporter, worked as an account executive at Rogers & Cowan and toured the U.S. & Canada for several years on rock ‘n roll tours.
