Swacch Association is a non-profit organisation registered on 5th July 2015 under the charitable trust act 1860 (Registration no. : F-33478 (N)). VISION: We aim to create responsible citizens, to adopt green practices, make proper use of their waste, so that in turn, we have an eco and liveable environment. At Swacch, we aim to have a holistic approach towards waste- its elimination, segregation, reutilization and recycling/designing, and its proper disposal. We educate, sensitize and engage various sectors of society like students, housewives, post self-help groups and for all different strata of society. We implement these ideas by taking workshops, campaigns, seminars and conferences to create awareness among individuals, groups, institutions and local self-government bodies. we also Work in the field of potable and available water problems by promoting water conservation, rain water harvesting/recharge methods and water cleaning methods. Also, we educate about sanitation/hygiene amongst women and adolescent girl with a focus on proper use and disposal of sanitary napkins, educating them about the health and environmental hazards. Plus, we instruct about how to make compost from wet/bio-degradable waste and utilizing it for domestic and commercial use. As the wider approach to the mission we include all the environmental issues like water, air, nature and biodiversity. Our aim is to work in these fields with focus on waste management and sustainable living.
