He completed his international exchange program from McGill University Canada in 2004. He started his career as a banker and worked with several banking and financial companies including Citibank India, Barclays, and HSBC. He quit his banking career at the peak of his career as Vice President - Credit Cards India division at HSBC. Baljit always wanted to be a storyteller and then followed his dream to pursue his passion for story telling full time. He served as a producer and television anchor at Bloomberg India. He produced and anchored several News feature shows including Logo, In focus, Movies Money and More, etc. Post Bloomberg, Baljit worked with Star India Pvt Ltd as a Deputy Editor where he created several shows including Savdhan India, Supercop’s vs Supervillains, Hum Ne li Hai Shapath, Khauff - Ringa Ringa Roses etc. After his stint at Star, Baljit joined Ekta Kapoor to create original content for Digital Media/OTT. Baljit has launched several OTT shows as Head of Content at Alt Balaji - Apharan Sabka Katega, Code M, Paurashpur, Bichu ke Khel, His Story, Cartel, The Married Woman, Puncchbeat, Verdict - State vs Nanavati, and several others. Baljit now has decided to focus on his entrepreneurial venture – 9 Pm Films. As Managing Director of 9 Pm Films, Baljit Singh Chaddha has a strong line up of several TV and OTT productions.
