Prosper Appalachia is on a mission to empower and connect our next generation of young people with opportunities to work and thrive in Eastern Kentucky, by providing a solutions-based approach to the region’s most persistent problems and barriers to success. Together with our regional partners, we endeavor to prepare our next generation of workforce and leaders to participate in the economic transformation of Appalachia. We partner with local, placed-based organizations and employer partners to provide a “no-wrong door” approach to ensure an ever increasing amount of youth and young adults persist from high school, to and through post-secondary or skilled trades training, and into sustainable employment.
