Universal Design (UD) is a functional component of what we do, but UD is limiting in creativity. Intentioned design around LIVABILITY is so much more. It invites experience – phenomenology – the thing that makes a house a home, and a statement of who we are and what we value. It’s what inspires informed homeowners to be proactive and secure features they’ll enjoy for decades. Design is a fun piece of our work, but often helping people navigate the questions and anxieties that occupy all our minds is even more rewarding. A fresh mindset, with the knowledge of how their house can and will serve them better now and for years to come is a true gamechanger. Sometimes it’s just a couple zoom chats. Others need added technical support. It’s all good, and it’s all online, serving clients across the globe.
