Journal of Orthoplastic Surgery (JOPS) is a peer-reviewed open access journal published online. The journal aims to contribute towards improving the quality of Trauma and Orthopaedic care by publishing high quality research. JOPS publishes original articles in the field of Orthopaedics and Traumatology, as well as systematic reviews, case reports, descriptions of new or recognized treatment techniques, and letters to the editor. The increase in the number and complexity of trauma often necessitates the collaboration between Orthopaedic and plastic surgeons to provide high standards of care. The journal features special emphasis on research work reflecting this collaboration, and in ‘Orthoplastic Surgery’ as an emerging sub-specialty. Editorial reviews from respected authorities in the field will be commissioned by the journal.
