Boutique Architecture and Design Firm Over the past fourteen years, Shmuel D. Flaum has worked on a large spectrum of projects throughout New York City and Long Island including many high-end residential projects as well as various commercial, industrial, hospitality, restaurant and office projects. Shmuel has also spent several years instructing design studios and visualization classes to both architecture and interior design students in addition to lecturing in architectural history/theory. Shmuel graduated from NYIT with highest honors in May 2007 when he received his Bachelor of Architecture. He was also awarded the prestigious Henry Adams Medal and Certificate as the highest ranking graduate in his class. Shmuel is also pursuing a Masters in Energy Management with an advanced Certificate in Energy Technology from NYIT’s School of Engineering. He is currently working on his thesis focusing on regenerative design applications in architecture. Upon obtaining his Masters degree, Shmuel intends to focus his efforts on developing a research based practice where he focus on designing projects that are both architecturally inspiring and regenerate their surrounding environments.
