Sheri Doty has been a working Fine Artist since 1979. During that time she has acquired patrons all over the United States and around the world. Her art is in the permanent collection of two museums and has been published in numerous books and magazines. Sheri Doty accepts art commissions for portraits and other subjects. Sheri began doing commercial illustration when contacted by designers interested in her sensitive realistic style to illustrate their books, magazines and other projects. Sheri Doty is also an experienced teacher of classic academic art. She conducts workshops and demonstrations on Colored Pencil art and Oils and Acrylic painting. She is a faculty member of SLCC and Peterson’s Art Center
