Founded in 1987, the Community Foundation of North Central Wisconsin responsibly seeks, manages, and awards charitable gifts with one goal in mind: to enhance the quality of this area for present and future generations. The Community Foundation of North Central Wisconsin is governed by a 15-member board, elected to strategically invest the gifts of our donors, direct disbursements of the Foundation's assets, and plan for the community's long-term good. Mission: We exist to enhance the quality of the greater Wausau Area. Vision: To create a vibrant and livable area that serves as a magnet for people who want to make an extraordinary life.
