The Proud Trust (formerly LGBT Youth North West) supports young gay, lesbian, trans and bisexual people aged 8-25. We exist to make sure that all LGBT young people can be happy, proud of who they are and able to live the life they deserve. We do this via: - Youth groups delivered across the North West region; - Education and training for young people and youth professionals. This is done through workshops in schools and youth work settings. - Networks for youth workers and partnerships with wider organisations working with LGBT young people; - Regional and national events to enable young people and adults to come together, raise awareness, have fun and support each other.
