Impact 100 East Bay
www.impact100eastbay.orgMembership in Impact100 East Bay provides women an opportunity to be part of a greater effort by funding transformational community projects in a way that is far more impactful than one can achieve alone. It also provides an opportunity to meet other dynamic women who are passionate about becoming more aware of and responding to the unmet needs of those in Alameda and Contra Costa counties. Founded in late 2016 by Nancy Clark and a like-minded group of women, Impact100 East Bay proudly awarded its first grant in September 2017. By 2021 our membership had grown sufficiently to award two grants for the first time, reaching a 5-year grant total of $500,000. Qualifying nonprofit partners submit projects for annual consideration in the areas of Arts & Culture, Education, Environment, Recreation & Preservation, Family, and Health & Wellness. The Impact100 model was founded by Wendy Steele in 2001 in response to the feeling that women’s roles in philanthropy needed a new way to be expanded and encouraged. Since its inception, Impact100 has donated more than $105 million to worthy causes through its more than 60 chapters worldwide.
