The Business Coalition for Gender Equality (BCGE) is a non-profit association and a coalition of companies committed to promoting gender equality in the workplace in Myanmar. Our association is funded by the Australian Government (DFAT), led and founded by five leading businesses in Myanmar – City Mart Holding Limited (CMHL), KBZ Bank, AYA Bank, FMI, and Shwe Taung Development Company Ltd – that have all committed to achieving organisational growth and global sustainable development goals through workplace gender equality initiatives. BCGE encourages all companies and organisations in the private sector to initiate workplace gender equality, diversity & inclusion practices and serves as trusted advisors and a centre of excellence to support their journey.
