It is obvious that, traditional methods of collecting data and managing projects are no longer the solutions, and that we must adapt to a new way of existing ones that involves the adoption of alternative research practices. Research Experts, Org. is at the forefront of alternative research design tools, and development of data collection mechanisms for individual and business purposes. The current techniques of data collections use many resources such as papers to prepare hard copy questionnaires, cartridge for printing and photocopying, risk to loose data when questionnaire are miss placed in whole process of collection to data entry, time consuming to do data entry and lack of quality assurance of data. Research Experts of Tanzania, org has identified some open source tools such as Epi Info and CSPro, which can be programmed to capture data via web internet, computers, and mobile phones during interview. Data can be collected in offline and online modes, and synchronized direct to servers. Epi Info and CSPro can be programmed to validate data being collected and not to wait until when data are entered in traditional excel programs or other statistical packages. There after researchers, data engineers and statisticians can export data easily to statistical packages such as Stata, IBM SPSS etc. We have also taken huge strides in the development training programs, such as development of online data collection and entry systems using Epi Info and CSPro 6,data analysis using statistical packages such as Stata and IBM SPSS as to start with. Our future eye is on development of Enterprise Project Management System (EPMS) with MS Project 2013 and Server to capture all project information and data online (work on progress for this)
