The Mission of Moment of Silence Prevention: Support, promote, develop, and facilitate educational activities and programs designed to improve, increase, or encourage the overall safety of the Police, Fire, EMS, and Military personnel who defend and protect our freedom on a daily basis. Education: Support, promote, develop, and facilitate educational activities and programs designed to benefit children of Police, Fire, EMS, and Military personnel who have fallen in the line of duty. Increase affordability of education by assisting with bridging the gap between existing sources of grants and scholarships and the total cost of college through the provision and support of college scholarships and educational counseling. Awareness: Lobbying legislators to draft, support, and pass legislation that benefits, recognizes, or supports Law Enforcement, Fire, EMS, and United States Military Service members. Generate increased public support and awareness for the heroism of the Law Enforcement, Fire, EMS, and United States Military Service professions. Support: Assist seriously wounded or disabled Law Enforcement Officers, Firefighters, EMS practitioners, United States Military Service members, and the families.
