A new club formed in 2015 built on a foundation of London soccer excellence by teams and clubs throughout the region. FC LONDON will operate as part of the Ontario Soccer Association (OSA) pathway to development pathway. League1divisions are recognized as the leading mens and womens leagues in Ontario. The League1 Ontario regular season runs from May through September using a single table format, with each team playing home and away for a total of 22 games (Men's) / 16 games (Women's). The club with the highest point total is crowned regular season champions. A League1 cup competition runs concurrently with the regular season, with cup games taking place during mid-week working toward a final in late July.
