Stronger Brains is an online program to improve students' cognitive abilities and social-emotional health. From learning to read, to building meaningful relationships, to setting and achieving long-term goals, brain health is vital to success in school and life. Stronger Brains helps students build the confidence, positive self-image and cognitive skills required for academic and personal success. Our online program provides schools with an affordable means of assessing and then improving students' brain health, through personalized training plans designed to grow the core neurocognitive skills underlying learning and mental wellness. Our approach is rooted fundamentally in the science of brain plasticity, which is the brain’s ability to adapt in response to experience. The science underlying our program was developed by Dr. Michael Merzenich, a world leading expert on brain plasticity who spent decades as a professor at UCSF researching the brain’s ability to change, and developing scientifically proven methods for improving brain health, performance and wellness.
